How the Industry Awards Work
Industry Award Eligibility - For Social Media Professionals judged by Social Industry Experts
Companies, advertising agencies, networks, film companies, and other entertainment brands, as well as creative digital agencies, and PR firms that produce innovative work in social media are invited to submit their professional work for a Shorty Industry Award. To be eligible, the entry must have been released in 2013. Unless otherwise noted in the category description, spec work and incomplete work are not eligible.

Judging and Judging Criteria
The Shorty Industry Awards recognize excellence in the professional social media community. Unlike the general Shorty Awards, the Industry Awards are not subject to public voting. Instead, the winners will be selected solely by members of the marketing jury of the Real-Time Academy of Short Form Arts & Sciences, a diverse group of luminaries in the internet, advertising, media, and entertainment industries.
Judging Criteria: all entries will be scored by the judges on two major criteria
Creativity & Innovation: Unique and innovative use of the app/platform, quality and originality of the creative execution, aesthetic impression, and overall creative impact of the approach, user engagement and social media experience.
Effectiveness & Use of the Platform: Overall effectiveness of the campaign - did it achieve the desired business objectives and results (be specific). Did the campaign use the capabilities of the platform - describe why this campaign is best of breed.
Social Bonus - Judges will award a social bonus to Industry Award entries that are shared the most by clients, colleagues and industry experts. Direct people to your full entry page where they can click any of the share buttons.
Additional Criteria for Best Agency categories: A description of overall agency excellence, please provide specific examples of how the agency is advancing social media disciplines, creating client successes, providing social media leadership, and building staff experts.
Additional Links for Best Agency categories: please provide links to other Shorty Industry Award entries you want the judges to review as part of your Best Agency submission.
